GROWING
BUSINESS
Welcome to the beginnings of a growing woman owned business. We might just be starting with art, but we will expand into video games soon! We have already started development of our first game. Check out our blog or one of our social media accounts if you want to be along for the ride!
What’s is the current direction?
Right now we are working on building any presence at all. We are working very hard to build our media following and still work slowly on getting enough going on to do this full time. Currently this is not the owners main/only focus, but we are working on it! We are trying to make a lot more base product and passive income sales that we don’t have to table for.
What’s in the future?
I am looking to develop and sell videogames. This stemmed from the love of video games I hold, and how they positively affect my life. It will be a big climb to get even a small development team, but I hope to develop it to be a well-known company that sells games globally at some point, even if the team stays small. As I have grown older I have become more disappointed with the industry and how their communities interact internally. Also I want to hire people based upon talent and not by degrees, but this means it will have a more complex hiring process. I want a positive work environment for my employees as well because it is important to work somewhere where you are appreciated and respected.
QAs
Why Keiko Kreatures for the name?
The name is based off the owners middle name, Keiko, which is a name she has gone by very frequently over the years. It was her great great grandmother’s name her mother passed down to her. Keiko Kompany was going to be the original name, but with the unfortunate news that it wouldn’t work, we had to come up with something new. It had to still fit the iconic KK logo our hearts were set on, but not limit the brand from vertical expansion. And so, that is where the Keiko Kreatures name was formulated!
What kind of art do you sell?
We mostly sell anime/cartoon styled art, but there are also a few landscape type pieces in our inventory too. Make sure to look into our products section to buy or look into the style as well as set your expectations if you plan on making a commission request!
What kinds of games will you be making?
Since we have not made any games YET, so we do not have a specific genre of game we plan on making. We just want to make quality games with deep thought put into them that are enjoyable to the public. It feels like some of the previously well respected studios are not putting out quality content like they used to so we plan to be part of the healing process.
Where can I find your physical store?
We are currently only around Tennessee doing tables at local events. This may change in the future, but it is not in the current plan or interest to get a brick and mortar location for the public to visit.
Can I be a test player for your games?
ABSOLUTLY! Make sure to reach out on our social media posts to apply as a volunteer to play test when applications come up. Spots may become limited so if you’re interested please keep an eye on our socials!
How do we work with/for you?
Currently, we are not taking anyone as a regular employee, but we are contracting people for some of the game elements. If you want to be a volunteer for a project in development please feel free to contact us on any our social media accounts right now. Additionally, you can ask if we need your talent for one of our contract jobs. If contracts are up they will be posted on our social media account too.
